“You will leave the Follies humming an old tune and

thinking a new thought”- Andrew Threipland

Hurray for the Follies: you add to the sum of human happiness’

Alexander McCall-Smith

We so enjoyed your Follies.  They have become a fixture

like the Edinburgh Festival – only far less strenuous!”

EAU YES! IN PREPARATION FOR 2010

Each show has the same format:  four singers, two actors and a piano but a different title, theme and content which are conceived annually at Fingask Castle. We pride ourselves that the shows are slick, funny and thought provoking:  Cole Porter, Plato, Milton and Mozart.

2009

This year's season is over.  The show was deemed even better than last year's and greeted with standing ovations.  We had an exciting range of venues.  We revisited many favourites and added some new ones.

This is where we performed: Fingask Castle; Stradsett Hall, Norfolk; the Polish Club, London; the Glasgow Art Club; the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh; Balgray, Dumfriesshire; Solsgirth House, Kinross-shire; Glen Tanar Ballroom, Aboyne, Aberdeenshire; Southfield House, East Lothian and in the grounds of Stag Hall, Hertfordshire.

We raised money for local charities and entertained about 2,000 people.
