Fingask Castle

The castle has a well that bubbles up in the cellar which is presumably the reason for building a stronghold here. The building as it is now very largely dates from the 1920’s- thank goodness as the roof and walls are relatively sound. Children are sent off to count the number of bedrooms and come back with many different answers.
